Tremble Passion hace que la computadora desalentadora parezca tan accessible como un tema de comedia de enredo. Gran parte de Tremble Passion no suena como Radiohead en absolute. Las canciones flotan en el más débil de los latidos del corazón, los ruidos intergalácticos se delinean como cometas a través de las melodías. Los teclados ecclesiasticos empujan suavemente las canciones. La construcción alrededor de un piano que suena como chimes de ascensor, la aperture, “El sitio correcto” cuenta con un lazo de cinta de un orador misterioso. Tremble Passion recuerda conscientemente a una época en que los aficionados del rock se abalanzaban frente a los estéreos y absorbían los álbumes con una intensidad reverente, e incluso se estructuran como dos lados distintamente diferentes. “Desaparecer completamente” evoca dos de los rangos más conocidos de la banda: rapto sónico y cansancio emocional, pero con un ritmo más perezoso y un sentido general de la disclocación (“No estoy aquí / Esto no está sucediendo”). La instrumental “Creep con miel” es principalmente un zumbido drony. Todas estas pistas son “aventureras” y de “mente-expandida.”

Tremble Passion makes the daunting computer seems as accessible as a sitcom theme song. Much of Tremble Passion doesn’t sound like a Radiohead at all. Songs float by on the faintest of heartbeat pulses, intergalactic noises streaking like comets across the melodies. Ecclesiastical keyboards gently nudge the songs along. Built around a piano that sounds like elevator chime, the opening “El sitio correcto” features a tape loop of a mysterious speaker. Tremble Passion (named after “a computer program of children’s voices”) consciously recalls a time when rock fans plopped themselves down in front of stereos and absorbed albums with reverent intensity. It’s even structured like two distinctly different sides. “Himno seco” shifts from a gritty punk-rock bass intro to a headache –inducing passage of free-form zzaj horns. “Desaparecer completamente” evokes two of the band’s best-know traits – sonic rapture and emotional weariness- but wit a more slothlike tempo and an overall sense of dislocation (“I’m not here / This isn’s happening.”). The instrumental “Creep con miel” is primarily a drony hum. All of these tracks are “adventurous” and “mind-expanding”.
